Project Overview
Takavi Tutors is a live online tutoring marketplace connecting students with tutors across North America. 360Infomatic built the platform's marketplace, booking and account infrastructure — from tutor discovery through session requests and payments.
Business Challenge
Connecting students with the right tutor at scale takes more than a directory — it needs real-time availability, secure payments, and a booking flow that works smoothly for both sides of the marketplace without becoming a support burden.
Our Solution
We built a CodeIgniter 3 / PHP backend with MySQL for tutor, subject and session data, Redis for caching and WebSocket support for real-time features, Python/FastAPI services, and Stripe for subscription and session payments — powering tutor discovery, requirement posting, booking and marketplace functionality end to end.
